About This Piece

This piece is based on characters from Welsh and Celtic folklore, or at least an idea of them. This piece is inspired by the Celtic goddess Brigid, known for embodying multiple elemental forces, but the artist chose to focus on the traits of fire and creativity. While Brigid is more familiar from Irish mythology, the artist used an old found photograph to bring her to life.
