About This Piece

David's artwork emerges as a powerful personal meditation on hope in the face of despair. Originally conceived during Inktober 2021 as a drawing, he challenged himself to transform the piece into a photographic composition.

The piece serves as a deeply personal reminder that while some days feel apocalyptic, hope remains a fundamental resilience against overwhelming darkness. By meticulously combining various photographs and experimenting with fire representation, David crafted a visual metaphor for endurance and potential.

Sizes And Frame

The unframed print is available in 2 sizes.
• Small (A4 paper) - Approximately 29.7cm x 21cm (11.7 inches x 8.3 inches).
• Large (A3 paper) - Approximately 42cm x 29.7cm (16.3 inches x 11.7 inches).

For an additional fee, the print can be purchased ready to hang, mounted in a black rimmed frame, with a picture wire on the rear.

Technical Specifications

Each print is made using the finest ingredients, and there is no low grade, unmanaged “print on demand” here. David creates, inspects, packages and posts each print himself. They are printed using a Canon Giclée printer and archival inks on heavyweight Innova FibaPrint® White Matte 280gsm art paper, ensuring both the best colour matching and archival stability.
