About This Piece

This print is taken from a digital artwork David crafted that was centred on St Govan's Chapel, a mystical location in Wales steeped in local folklore. The piece draws inspiration from childhood memories of the legendary steps - a local myth suggesting that counting the steps ascending and descending the chapel always yields different numbers.

Using a vintage photograph of the bay as a backdrop, David constructed a narrative exploring themes of privilege and nobility, populating the scene with a wild, feral family from Annwn (the Welsh mythological underworld). The artwork, titled "The Aristocrats", reimagines the landscape as a mystical stage for exploring social dynamics and supernatural elements.

The unframed print is available in 2 sizes.
• Small (A4 paper) - Approximately 21cm x 29.7cm (8.3 inches x 11.7 inches).
